Cherrie Legend (she/her — pronounced like the fruit) is a social media strategist, storyteller, and visionary who empowers brands to build authentic connections online. Driven by a passion for storytelling, she founded Profluencer to help brands harness the power of social media with strategic insight and precision.

Cherrie’s journey began in Texas, where she grew up before attending Stanford University, earning dual degrees in Sociology. At Apple, she spent nearly a decade honing her craft, advancing from Business Affairs to Digital Asset Management, and ultimately, Apple’s Social Media team. There, Cherrie led Apple’s YouTube presence, growing the channel from 1 million to 10 million subscribers in less than three years—a testament to her strategic approach and impact.

In 2019, Cherrie launched Profluencer, fueled by the experience of managing some of the world’s largest social channels. Even during the challenges of a global pandemic, her consulting brand, June&Teenth, gained recognition through the Bridge for Billions Visa Entrepreneur 2021 program for its dedication to supporting women-led and Black-owned businesses.

When she’s not elevating brands, Cherrie finds joy hiking the California coast, testing new recipes in her pressure cooker, or embracing her latest cosplay adventure.
